These one day mini-camps are limited to six girls, ages 10 and up, who have attended horse camps or have some experience with horses. This camp consists of grooming, saddling, and working on barrels/poles and trail riding. Each camper has her own horse for the afternoon and we supply helmets and all tack and grooming supplies. Campers only need to bring a drink or two and a mid-afternoon snack, maybe and a smile on her face!
Our camp counselors were once campers themselves and are some of the best around and each counselor has many years of camp and equine experience. Camp begins at 12:30 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. Please submit ONLY the Camper Registration, Parent Permission, and Waiver Form (dated the day of camp) located on our website on the Forms & Policies Page!
Registration fee/tuition: $95 per camper (includes everything! Even a horse!!)
Contact Us for details and to register.
WHAT THE CAMP IS ALL ABOUT......
Splendor Farms is a “girls only” horse & farm camp created out of my love of animals and desire to share my farm with “city,” “horse crazy,” and “I want to be a vet when I grow up” girls. Our Horse & Farm Camps are designed to give girls an opportunity to learn cooperation, self-confidence, and teamwork through hands-on instruction on a real working farm.
They will learn the basics of western horsemanship through daily grooming, saddling, riding lessons, and trail riding, plus enjoy many other farm activities including a rodeo and horse games.
