Horseback Riding Rules
-
Plan to arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled ride so there’s time to wash your hands, sign your waivers, and get ready for your ride. Don’t be late or your ride may be cut short!!
-
Jeans or long pants and boots or tennis shoes are required to ride at Splendor Farms! No shorts, no crocs, no flipflops!!
-
Our weight maximum per horse is 240 pounds.
-
We do not ride bareback or ride double on horses!
-
Ages 7 and up are allowed to ride on the trails. However, we reserve the right to alter age requirements based on an individual’s maturity and riding experience level.
-
For children ages 2-6, we offer rides in our groundwork arena for $40 for a private 30 minute ride on a small horse led by you or a member of our staff! It is a great opportunity to introduce horseback riding to a young child who may be interested in riding lessons or a future trail ride!
