One hour north from New Orleans, LA, Splendor Farms is a family friendly Louisiana farm and a relaxing country getaway offering overnight guest accommodations, horseback riding, riding lessons and lots of fun outdoor activities for animal and nature lovers of all ages.

Spend some time away from your hectic life visiting with our goats, chickens, horses, rabbits and burros, ponies, and cats. Go fishing, hiking, biking, and swimming in our salt water pool and hot tub/spa as the weather permits or sit out by an evening, roaring fire pit as a guest of our Guest Cabin, The Barn House, Guest Apartment, and/or our Main House room accommodations.

Overnight guests get their own horse for the weekend and learn basic horsemanship and have riding lessons!

Lay back in a hammock or poolside with a good book and enjoy the clean and healthy air in a farm life setting surrounding you. We also offer lawn games such as volleyball, and you can go canoeing, tubing, or kayaking in the nearby Bogue Chitto River, with the Bogue Chitto Tubing and Canoeing Center.

We can accommodate you, your family, or group, whether you’re looking for a place to spend the night, weekend, week, as a destination or traveling between horse or dog shows and want to break up your trip  - we are conveniently located to I-10, I-12, and I-59, in the Covington/Bush, Northshore area of New Orleans.
