MEET OUR NEW FARM RESIDENTS:
THREE ADORABLE ALPACAS!!
Ever since I have been going to Whisper Soft Alpaca Farm for summer camp field trips, I have wanted one, but you have to have two. So, yesterday I went Alpaca Shopping, and like when I buy boots, I love them all so I buy them all! I promised myself I'd buy only two and come home, but I had to have a male and a female,
and the female had a baby girl....so, I couldn't just leave her, could I?
So many to choose from

Splendor Farms Petting Farm Is In The Movies!!
Recently, the director of Lara Croft: Tomb Raider, Simon West, was in our area shooting a remake of the movie The Mechanic, which previously starred Charles Bronson. In one scene, a bunch of livestock are milling around in an Argentina village, and guess who auditioned and was chosen to be in the scene?
Ten of our chickens, our burro, Toby, and one of our boer goats, MawMaw!!
It was really exciting and we got PAID!!!! See the preparation pictures below
and sneaked photos of the scenes that were shot in the "Argentina village"
(really City Park in New Orleans!!)
No autographs, please!!
